We are open for congregational 5 daily prayer and Friday prayer. Our timetable is available at Istiqlal app which can be downloaded from either the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

We provide a nikah service for muslim couples.

We collect zakatul-fitr, sadaqah and zakatul mal. The majority of our zakatul fitr is distributed in Indonesia via BAZNAS (Indonesian government-owned amil zakat agency). The rest are distributed to our needy jamaah and refugees.

Istiqlal Care is our quarterly program aimed to give back to community. We provide care packages filled with essentials to muslims and non-muslims. We’ve helped refugees and low income community locally.

During hurricane and storm, Masjid Istiqlal opens its door to shelter people in needs. We use our prayer hall to house people temporarily and provide meals.

Every Saturday, Istiqlal provides a venue for Indonesian food sellers to sell Indonesian food to communities. All of our food sellers have Texas food handler certificates.

During Ramadan, masjid Istiqlal provides iftar daily and suhoor for the last 10 days. We also provides meals, snacks, and drink after both Eid prayers.

To support the federal covid vaccination program, Istiqlal masjid, in collaboration with Fort Bend County Health and Human Service opens pop-up vaccination clinics and test centers periodically in 2021 and 2022.

Istiqlal opens for taraweh daily during Ramadan, and i’tikaf and qiyam during the last 10 days of Ramadan. We also perform both Eidul Fitr and Eidul Adha prayers, followed by feasts.
